Bela Jermendy, 72, of Canadensis, died Saturday, November 18 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Karin (Schumacher) Jermendy, to whom he was married for 24 years. Born in Hungary, he was the son of the late Bela and Anna (Ferktor) Jermendy. In addition to his wife, Karin, he is survived by a son, Thomas of Bronx, New York; a daughter, Christina of Canadensis; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a two sons, Steven and Bela. The Reverend Father David Cramer will conduct a Blessing Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Interment will follow at Seese Hill Cemetery in Canadensis. There will be a viewing from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
