Eugene Ralph Flower

August 6, 1935 - December 24, 2021

Eugene "Sonny" R. Flower, 86 , from the Bronx, New York, passed away on Friday December 24, 2021 peacefully in his home in Thornhurst Township. Eugene was the beloved husband of Jeannette Flower. Born in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Eugene and Evelyn Flower. Eugene honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an Iron worker. Eugene was always keeping himself busy with projects ranging from building houses, motorcycles and cars just to name a few! His hobbies included skiing, golfing, riding his motorcycle and bowling all with his many friends. He also loved to be outdoors and hiked most of the trails in Acadia National park with his many "kids" . In addition to his wife Jeannette, Eugene will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Evamarie Flower and her husband, Tom Amirault; and "little" Jeannette Flower and her husband, Edward Goetze; also by his adoring granddaughters: Jordan and Mackenzie Goetze; and loving grandsons: Julian, Jarrett, Jayden and Jyles Amirault. There will be a viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 29 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Military honors will follow. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
