Helen Grady

Helen M. Grady, 86, a resident of St. Mary's Villa Residence, and formerly of Mt. Pocono, passed away on December 28 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. She returned home to God on her father's birthday, and the same day her sister, Catherine passed away. Born in Tobyhanna, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Langan) Grady. She graduated from Coolbaugh Township High School. Before her retirement, Helen was an Assistant Manager of the Records Department, Adjutant Division Personnel at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She is survived by a brother, John Grady and his wife, Ruth A. of Gettysburg; three sisters-in-law, Ruth M. Grady of Mt. Pocono, Mae Grady of Clark, New Jersey, Elizabeth Grady of Pocono Summit; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Thomas, and Richard Grady; and two sisters, Mary and Catherine. The Reverend Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4 at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow. There will be a viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
