Joseph Blasioli

September 30, 1948 - January 25, 2022

Joseph B Blasioli, Jr., 73, of Pocono Pines, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, with his wife Patricia by his side. He was born in Pittsfield, MA on September 30, 1948 a son to the late Joseph B. Sr. and Rose (Cataldo) Blasioli. Joe attended Mount Caramel and graduated from St. Joseph High School with the class of 1966. He was employed at the General Electric Company as a machinist, and repaired transformers and generators for 40 years. Joe met his wife Patty while working at General Electric and they married on October 29, 1995. Joe was delighted to take early retirement to fulfill his dream of living on a golf course where he could enjoy his passion every day. He followed in his father's footsteps playing in a variety of leagues and competing in many tournaments with his close friends. Joe was a huge fan of the New York Yankees and Giants. He rarely missed watching a game and he had no problem sporting his team gear even when he lived in Boston. Joe loved walking and playing with his golden retrievers, Ruby and Hannah. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by his three children: Lisa Puffer and her husband, Daniel of North Reading, MA; Lori Blasioli and her husband, Mike Ambrozewicz Sr., of Shrewsbury, MA; and Lynna Williams and her husband, Rick of Reading, MA; four grandchildren: Madeline and Jonathan Puffer; and Chase and Parker Williams; sister, Ginny Coppola and her husband, Jerry; brother, Steve Blasioli; uncle to Thomas and Kristen Coppola; and Nichole and Allyson Blasioli; and many great-nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 28 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5112 Pocono Crest Road, Pocono Pines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at the church. The family is kindly requesting all in attendance to please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
