Joseph "Rocky" Rockelmann, 64, of Pocono Lake, died Thursday, March 9 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains. He was the husband of Judy (Fickert) Rockelmann. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph R. and Susanna (Lindtner) Rockelmann. He graduated from Dobbins Vocational High School. Rocky was a retired facilities maintenance supervisor at the Tobyhanna Army Depot and was co-owner of Pocono Lake Plumbing Supply, with his wife. He attended Christ the King Church in Blakeslee. He was a member of the Trains Collectors Association and a veteran of the Army National Guard. In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by a sister, Marie McNally of Locust Lakes; and his mother and father-in-law, Theodore and Martha Fickert of Hatfield. The Reverend Father Raymond Deviney will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13 at Christ the King Church in Blakeslee. There will be a viewing at the church from 12:00 until the time of service. Pastor James T. Heckman will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive & Hilltown Pike, Hilltown, Pa. 18927 Interment will follow at St. Peter's Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
