Mary Kuti Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary E. (Lynch) Kuti, 82, of Mount Pocono and formerly of the Bronx, New York passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital Monroe. Born in Charleville Co. Cork, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dunne) Lynch. Mary was the beloved wife of Andras "Andy" Kuti. Mary was a member of Saint Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church of the Bronx where she took great pride in teaching Religious Education. While in the Bronx she worked in the cafeteria at Rice High School and she also was a home health aide in which she found her true passion, serving others. After moving to the Pocono Mountains, she became an avid bowler and joined the Mount Pocono Bowling Club. Above all, Mary enjoyed gardening and embroidering, she made many beautiful pieces for her family members to pass down throughout the years. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Andy, Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Steven Kuti and his wife Jackie and Andrew J. Kuti and his wife Yoko; daughters, Linda Kuti-Kingham and her husband Edmund and Stacy Kuti and her husband Yusuke Tomizawa; grandchildren, Ryan Kingham and his wife Alyssa, Danica Kuti, Michelle Kuti, Erika Kuti, Steven Kuti, Edmund Kingham, Hayley Kingham, Emily Kuti, Fiona Kuti-Tomizawa and Stella Kuti-Tomizawa as well as many beloved nephews and nieces. Mary is preceded in death by her 15 siblings including her brother Harry whom was the only sibling residing in New York. Services: A viewing will take place from 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa. A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00A.M. on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Most Holy Trinity Parish, 236 Pa-390, Cresco, Pa where the family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery of Moscow. Contributions: Flowers are welcomed, as well as, memorial contributions in Mary's name made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
