Pat Megliola, 75, of Buck Hill Falls, died Friday, December 23 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Canadensis. He was the husband of Barbara (O'Shea) Megliola. Born in Boundbrook, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Ralph and Frances (Mangino) Megliola. He graduated from Marietta College in Ohio, with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. A United States Army veteran, Pat was the Captain of the Army Golf Team. In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by a son, Ralph and his wife, Mia of Canadensis; a daughter, Kathy Megliola of New Milford, New Jersey; one grandchild, Pasqual Megliola of Canadensis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mega DiDario. The Reverend Father Alfred Vito will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28 at St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barrett Friendly Library, PO Box 604, Mountainhome, Pa. 18342
