Salvatore A. Mercurio, 78, of Swiftwater died Saturday, October 15, at home. He was the husband of Hilda Costa. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he was the son of the late Ralph and Grace DeLorenzo Muccore. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Catholic faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 step-daughters Patricia Foster, Brick NJ and Carol Borges, Dallas TX, brother: Michael Mercurio, Kenilworth, NJ; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. There will be a viewing from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 8:30 pm on Monday, October 17 at the Bolock Funeral Home, Inc. corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will conduct a funeral mass on Tuesday, October 18 at 10 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mt. Pocono. Burial will follow in the Leteir Cemetery in Sweet Valley.
