Tara L. Craig
October 4, 1953 - December 16, 2020
Tara Lee Craig, 67, of Canadensis, PA, passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, after a long battle with chronic illness. She was the loving wife of Donald Gordon Craig, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Peter Hazen Jung and Dorothy Lee (Raine) Rico. Tara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. A lover of nature and deeply spiritual, Tara's external beauty was outshined only by her internal radiance. She was kind, thoughtful, and creative. Her warmth extended to all those around her. Tara will be remembered for her love of dancing and music. Her infectious laugh made it impossible not to smile while in her company. Tara was very spiritual and possessed a unique ability to find deeper meaning in all aspects of life, everything she did was heartfelt, warm, and sincere. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Austa (Danny Whelpley) Craig of Canadensis, PA; son, Ryan (Emily) Craig of Southampton, PA; daughter, Christa (Josh) Devore of Douglasville, GA; beloved grandchildren: Kennedy and Hazen Craig; and Adilyn and Kinsley Devore. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in her name be made to the National M.S. Society, 30 South 17th Street Suite 800, Philadelphia, Pa 19103.
