Teressa I. Wicks
March 20, 1954 - January 18, 2021
Teressa I. Wicks, 66, of Canadensis, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at home. She was the loving wife of Stephen Wicks, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Russellville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Marine (Hall) Browning of Montana, and the late William W. Browning. Teressa had a wonderful speaking voice, and during college was on a small local radio station. Before settling in Pennsylvania, she lived in Ohio, Florida, California, and New Jersey, where she made many lifetime friends. Teressa held many jobs in the area, but most recently she worked as a receptionist at Skytop Lodge. She was talented, and had a creative view when it came to painting. Teressa enjoyed tending to her garden, and collecting angels. She was someone you could always count on, and was always there to lend a helping hand. In addition to her husband, and mother, she is survived by sisters: Brenda Dana and her husband, Dan of Montana; Patricia Senner and her husband, Dave of Oregon; Anita Ballenger and her husband, John of Oregon; mother-in-law, Mary "Ma" Wicks of Canadensis; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Teressa was preceded in death by her sister, Janet. There will be no services at this time; private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
