Timothy J. Holmes, 54, of East Stroudsburg, died October 24, 2006 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Carmen Cancel Holmes. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late William and Katherine (Scott) Holmes. He was employed as a machinist for Conrail Railroad. A Viet Nam veteran, Timothy served in the United States Army for four years; then enlisted in the United States Navy where he served six years. He was Third Degree Mason at Pocono Lodge #780. In addition to his wife, Carmen, he is survived by a daughter, Melissa Bush and her husband, Daniel; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Aydan, and Katelyn Bush. There will be a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. today at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
